As construction proceeds, there will undoubtedly be issues that come up that need attention. Please bring any issues directly to the Township: to the Supervisor, the Clerk or the Treasurer. We will act on them as appropriate. Please also be aware that every precaution will be taken to maintain a secure and safe construction site but there are several things we would like to bring to your attention for a safe and enjoyable summer.
During
the preconstruction meeting we covered the special events that are held in
and around town during the summer and fall.
The contractors will work with us to minimize the impact on these
events as much as possible. We are
asking for your cooperation, patience and understanding during this major
water improvement project. Blasting
Plan for Water Project Moyle
is arranging blasting on North Street, Pine Street, Pine Ridge Road,
Lighthouse Court, Lighthouse Road, 7th Street, 3rd
Street, 2nd Street, Cliff Street and the east portion of
M-26. They will have an inspection
team that will be performing inspections of septic systems and wells and the
inside of all structures within 500 feet of the blasting areas. They will be video recording the inside of
structures and documenting the condition because they will be responsible for
any damage caused by the blasting. We
do not have specific dates yet but Moyle will be sending a letter to each
effected property owner to make arrangements for access. The owner or their authorized
representative will need to be present during the inspection of the inside of
buildings. The commencement of
blasting is at least 2-4 weeks out.
We will post information as it becomes available. Moyle-EHT
